May 13, 2019, Kristina and I were at Rival. There it was an event that dealt with how we can build bridges between old and young, between Swedish-born and people with a foreign background, between employers and employees, between specially gifted and talented etc etc.
I lacked the bridge to be built between the major religions, but it is probably, no one has yet dared to debate this. AIKKIYA wants to help build those bridges.
The event and the people we talked to during the break, showed that AIKKIYA has several common denominators with the people who are passionate about this by building bridges. We have the same ideas about creating both digital and analog forums for meetings. Sadly, we can say that since 2007 when the Smartphone took hold, we lack the analogue forums that were natural before. The family who ate dinner and talked about how the day was, the spontaneous feast of comrades, the dance course, the billiard hall etc etc forums that have decreased drastically since 2007.
I long to put my teeth in AIKKIYA to get started on forums that will eventually contribute to several people starting different forums for mainly analog meetings with snack, coffee, dinners, games, lectures that interest us all. I also long to get out and support schools with a security work that helps young people grow up with greater acceptance for differences than what prevails today.
The event ended with Pa Modou Badjie who, with humor and joy, talked about “integration for real”. How he as a 12-year-old came to Sweden and from the beginning was told that: “In Sweden you do not talk to those you do not know.” The audience and Kristina finished the evening by interacting on stage.
AIKKIYA wants you to say: “In democratic societies like Sweden, you strive to get to know as many people as possible, across all borders.”
Bygga broar
2019-05-13, var Kristina och jag på Rival. Där var det ett event som handlade om hur vi kan bygga broar mellan gammal och ung, mellan svenskfödda och personer med utländsk bakgrund, mellan arbetsgivare och arbetstagare, mellan särbegåvade och begåvade etc etc.
Jag saknade bron som ska byggas mellan de stora religionerna, men det är nog så, ingen har ännu vågat debattera detta. AIKKIYA vill hjälpa till att bygga de broarna.
Eventet och de personer vi pratade med i pausen, visade på att AIKKIYA har flera gemensamma nämnare med de personer som brinner för detta med att bygga broar. Vi har samma idéer om att skapa både digitala och analoga forum för möten. Sorgligt nog kan vi konstatera att sedan 2007 när Smartphonen tog fäste saknar vi de analoga forumen som var naturliga förr. Familjen som åt middag och pratade om hur dagen varit, det spontana fikat hos kamrater, danskursen, biljardhallen etc etc forum som har minskat drastiskt sedan 2007.
Jag längtar efter att få sätta tänderna i att för AIKKIYAS räkning få igång forum som så småningom ska bidra till att flera startar olika forum för främst analoga möten med snack, fika, middagar, spel, föreläsningar som intresserar oss alla. Jag längtar också att få komma ut och stötta skolor med ett trygghetsarbete som bidrar till att ungdomar växer upp med större acceptans för olikheter än vad som råder i dag.
Eventet avslutades med Pa Modou Badjie som med humor och glädje pratade om ”integration på riktigt”. Hur han som 12-åring kom till Sverige och redan från början fick veta att: ”I Sverige pratar man inte med de man inte känner.” Publiken och Kristina avslutade kvällen med att interagera på scen.
AIKKIYA vill att man säger: ”I demokratiska samhällen som Sverige strävar man efter att lära känna så många som möjligt, över alla gränser.”
